- What types of massage does iCure Massage offer? We offer Swedish, Hot Stone & Deep Tissue, Acupressure & Trigger Points, Ashiatsu Back Walking, Couples, Reflexology foot massage, Cupping, Moxibustion, Migraine Massage, and Specialized Lower Back or Upper Back Treatment. Other custom treatments are available by request.
- How long does a typical massage session last? Sessions typically last 60 to 120 minutes, averaging 75 minutes.
- Is deep tissue massage painful? Generally, no. If the pressure feels more than your muscles can handle, just ask the therapist, and she'll lower it. On the other hand, if you feel the need for more pressure, ask the therapist to adjust to that level as well.
- What should I expect during my first massage? You will disrobe but remain covered by a towel. It might feel unusual at first, but as you relax, it will become deeply peaceful. By the end of the session, your muscles and back will feel relieved, and you will have a true sense of ‘peace of mind’ as well as physical peace.
- Do you have male and female massage therapists available? Although not by design, all our therapists are female.
- How do I prepare for a hot stone massage? There is no special preparation required; it is the same as a traditional massage. Although the round stones have been warmed, they will not feel too hot, just comforting against your skin.
- What are the benefits of Aromatherapy Massage? Aromatherapy massage combines the therapeutic power of touch with essential oils. By absorbing these plant extracts through the skin and inhaling their aromas, the practice delivers profound benefits, including reduced stress and anxiety, deep muscle relaxation, improved sleep quality, and an overall boost in mood.
- Can I book a massage for two people? Yes, it is a specialty at iCure. The two of you will share a room with two massage tables. It is a great way to spend romantic time together and to share with your ‘bestie’.
- What are your operating hours in Lower Gwynedd Township? We are open: Mon-Sun, 9:30 AM - 8:30 PM.
- Do you offer gift cards for massage services? Yes, they make a great present for the people you know and care about. Please see the gift card section on our website, call us to purchase, or visit our location in person. Discounts are available for larger purchases.
